Pahiatua is the casket and coffin centre of New Zealand, in the central North Island Wairarapa, it produces by far the biggest volume, and range of solid timber products in the country. The local 'wags' call Wakeman Street, where our factory is “Box Canyon”!

Employing skilled and trainee staff, all our senior craftsmen have had many years of experience in our industry.

And of our manufacturing operation, while we supply the “funeral industry”, our mission is more than just supply… Lonsdale Nz Ltd., is really in the memory making business, for its job is to provide vessels that add the memory value to funeral celebrations through their high quality and distinguished appearance.
